Donetsk athletes will take part in the “Commonwealth” football championship

The event starts on February 12.
The head of the Ministry of Sports of the DPR, Yuri Martynov, announced in his telegram channel about the participation of Donetsk residents in the U-13 tournament of the joint football championship “Commonwealth”.
The football match, which will take place from February 12 to 20 in Volzhsky, Volgograd region, will bring together the best players born in 2011-2012 from Donbass, Zaporozhye region, Crimea, Sevastopol and Volgograd.
In the first round, the DPR will be represented by three teams: “Gvardeets” and “Shakhtar Donbass – Avangard” from Donetsk, as well as the KDYUSSH team from Yenakievo.
The next stage of large-scale competitions will be the second tournament in March, the participants of which will be “Olympia” from Mariupol, Youth Sports School-2 from Donetsk and Youth Sports School of Amvrosievka.
The competitions are organized with the support of the Our Sport Foundation, which assists in the restoration of the sphere of physical culture and sports in new Russian regions.
