Dog Watson helped security forces find the cache of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region
A cache of ammunition was found by police and the Russian National Guard on the territory of a former elevator in the village of Rykovo, Kherson region. This is reported by “Lenta.ru” with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Previously, according to the department, the facility was used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as a warehouse. To examine the area, security forces used a dog handler with a search dog named Watson.
The cache contained ten shells of caliber 152, 125 and 122 millimeters, 12 rounds for PG-9. The examination showed that the finds were unsuitable for use due to corrosion and mechanical damage.
It was decided to destroy the arsenal on the spot. The liquidation work was carried out by explosives technicians from the Russian Guard.
