Six thousand students of the capital’s cadet classes passed a demonstration exam in Moscow. The guys answered questions about the history of Russia, general military regulations, types of weapons, demonstrated drill training, skills in disassembling and assembling a machine gun, and the ability to provide first aid. An independent assessment of the preparation of children in each school was carried out by officers-educators of educational organizations and employees of the Moscow Patriot.Sport Center.
As Marat Kuchushev, Director of the Moscow Center “Patriot.Sport” of the Moscow Department of Education and Science, noted, the results of the demonstration exam are taken into account when forming the annual rating based on the results of the city competition “The Best Cadet Class”.
– The demonstration exam is a modern tool for assessing the achievements of cadets in additional general developmental programs. This is a summing up of what schoolchildren have learned in two years in cadet classes, – said Marat Kuchushev. “Children study in depth the history of Russia, military affairs, mathematics, physics, social studies and foreign languages, and are engaged in drill and physical training.
According to one of the participants in the demonstration exam, Maria Novikova, an eighth-grade student of school No. 1874, she really likes her studies in the cadet class.
“So many interesting things have happened in two years,” Maria says. – Recently, as part of the national team of the North-Western District, I completed the TRP standards for a gold badge. My personal achievement, which I am proud of, is the victory in the city competition “Museums. Parks. Estates. The demonstration exam for me and my classmates is an exciting event. We have been preparing for it for a long time. Everything went well. For me, studying in a cadet class is a first-class education, an interesting, eventful life. After graduation, I want to become a military cynologist.
