Experts note that to strengthen the walls of blood vessels and prevent the development of cardiovascular diseases, it is not at all necessary to buy expensive red fish. You can get useful substances from its budget, but no less valuable analogue – herring, which also contains protein, vitamins and antioxidants.
However, eating salted herring may not be safe for people who have heart problems, high blood pressure, or kidney problems.
Doctors suggest paying attention to the frozen version. This fish retains all its beneficial properties. But it is recommended to defrost it gradually and not immerse it in hot water, otherwise it will become tasteless.
