Doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov dispelled the famous myth that it is very harmful to watch TV before going to bed. He spoke about this on the air of the program “About the Most Important” on the TV channel “Russia 1”.
The expert noted that watching TV before bed does not lead to insomnia, if this method helps a person fall asleep more easily. At the same time, Myasnikov noted that watching TV before going to bed is far from suitable for everyone, since for some it causes superficial sleep.
“If I watch something in the evening, I can get overexcited and not fall asleep. But if you lie down, look, fall asleep perfectly, it means that while you are coping, ”said the doctor.
In addition, Myasnikov noted that a person would need to switch from watching TV to something else if they weren’t already getting to sleep that way.
