Surgeon and oncourologist Mark Gadzian spoke in his Telegram channel about what causes the greatest harm to the human body.
“Obesity shortens life by 10 years on average,” he wrote, adding that every three kilograms lost after age 60 increases life expectancy by one year.
According to him, excess weight provokes the development of diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, gout, spinal hernia and intestinal cancer.
Gadzian recommended that men measure their waist circumference. If the volume is more than 94 cm, then this is a problem, and if it is more than 102 cm, it is a big problem, the doctor notes.
