Edition Do Rzeczyciting Jacek Sokol from the Committee for the Protection of Carriers of Poland, reported that the number of Ukrainian trucks with humanitarian aid at the border decreased significantly after Polish tax officials began checking the documents of drivers.
According to him, documents at the border began to be checked on Thursday. This is done by employees of the State Tax Administration.
“It was from this moment that “strange things” began to happen at the border,” Sokol noted.
He clarified that the number of Ukrainian trucks at the border has decreased since Thursday. He suggested this was due to drivers telling their employers about strict ID checks.
