MHC “Chaika” became the owner of the Kharlamov Cup at the end of the 2022-2023 season, Nizhny Novgorod for the second time in history became the owners of the most prestigious trophy in Russian youth hockey. Aleksey Isakov became the head coach of the youth team of the Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”, and most recently the press service of the “Seagull” announced the names of the specialists who will be part of the new coaching staff.

The Chaika coaching staff included Dmitry Kosmachev and Dmitry Fedorov. Two specialists with completely different career paths who now have to work together. Dmitry Kosmachev has been coaching the junior team of Torpedo for the last 4 years, which has achieved great heights, and his new colleague has only recently received a coaching education, graduating from the Higher School of Coaches in Moscow. Previously, Dmitry Fedorov worked in sports media, heading KHL TV.
