Belarusian-Russian singer Dmitry Koldun celebrated his birthday last weekend. Since his personal holiday usually coincides with events dedicated to the Day of Russia, the birthday man can only dream of peace. He celebrated his birthday on stage, but MK told how he celebrated his 38th birthday and what plans he has for this summer.
– I met my birthday with a great mood! At my last concert, the closest ones gathered: family, colleagues, friends and the most devoted fans. And we divided the huge cake equally among all the guests present.
– That is, you don’t sit on diets, can you eat a cake for your birthday?
– I have never sat on diets, I can eat a burger, a cake, and sausages with butter. I lead an active lifestyle, I walk a lot, I go out to the horizontal bar and bars near the house. Fats do not have time to be deposited.
– Do the stars, your colleagues, usually remember your holiday?
– There are not so many artists with whom I have a really good relationship, but it is doubly pleasant to receive congratulations from them. This year, Yulia Savicheva, Denis Klyaver, Vladimir Presnyakov congratulated … Even Philip Kirkorov did not forget. Thank you all very much, it’s very nice!
– How was that day? It was always interesting to know: if an artist works on his birthday, how does he celebrate?
– The first, of course, were congratulated by the wife and children. In the morning, even before the concert, my daughter drew a picture, she congratulates me on all the holidays like that. Family members want health and money more, so that later they have something to spend together.
Immediately after the concert, the musicians and my family and I ate in the dressing room what the guests had brought. These are sausages, cheeses and even fish. Well, they carefully drank to health from the numerous donated bottles. And then I went to congratulate the people of Perm on the 300th anniversary of the city and the Day of Russia, so it didn’t work out fully, I’ll note a little later.
In general, for me, any holiday is, first of all, easy communication, when you don’t have to fuss and worry about organization. I also love warm, cozy company in nature.
– What gifts did you please this time?
– The fan club gave me a stabilizer for video shooting, they are tired of the frame shaking on live broadcasts. (Smiling.) Friends handed over some of the clothes and small equipment. In general, everything you need. I don’t like useless stuff, and everyone knows it.
– Usually a person always has a couple of the most vivid memories of a birthday from childhood. What do you remember?
– The most memorable birthday in my childhood was when we celebrated my sixth birthday on vacation in Pitsunda. This is the last birthday where my parents were together and where we were a close-knit family. Six months later, they divorced, and we never met with such a company again. I really miss those emotions.
– Have you been touched by the so-called midlife crisis? ..
– I don’t want to buy a motorcycle yet, if that’s what you mean. (Laughs.) I am sure that all crises are due to idleness. My creative life is in full swing, I regularly release new releases. This year I plan to release a full-length album. Not before crises, in general, I have no time.
– And how do your children spend their time now: son and daughter? How did they finish school?
– Graduated, and thank God. (Laughs.) They study well, children should have knowledge. However, I don’t care about the grades. We walk a lot in the fresh air, work in the garden and read books, play chess. Alice still sings and dances, she does well. Perhaps one day he will also want to take part in some creative competitions.
— I can’t help but ask about your legendary dacha. How are things going there now?
– The dacha is flourishing, this year sunflowers have also appeared, as well as mulberries. Medicinal herbs began to grow, we constantly monitor the future harvest. And from the traditional – cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini.
— Will you go somewhere to rest this summer?
– Yes, we decided to go to the Caucasus with the whole family. This is our first trip like this. Maybe even climb Elbrus…
