State Duma deputy Dmitry Khubezov will leave the post of chairman of the committee on health protection in order to return to the zone of military operations. Mr. Khubezov announced the decision at a meeting of the General Council of the United Russia party.
“When I left for the first time, I promised the guys that when it was difficult for you, I would come, no matter what. Dear Dmitry Anatolyevich (Medvedev.—“b”), I ask you to release me from the post of chairman of the committee on health protection, ”said the parliamentarian (quoted from TASS).
For the vacant position, Mr. Khubezov recommends his deputy, Badma Bashankaev. Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko supported the candidacy of Mr. Bashankaev.
Dmitry Khubezov is a professional surgeon, board member of the Russian Society of Colorectal Surgeons. According to TASSfrom October 2022 to January 2023, he served as a military medic in one of the military units in the Lisichansk-Severodonetsk agglomeration under a volunteer contract.
