Handball club from Krasnodar SKIF was left without a head coach. Team coach Dmitry Karlov left his position after the end of the contract. This was reported by the press service of the Krasnodar club.
Last season, SKIF took 7th place in the regular season of the men’s Superleague, following the results of the playoffs, it also remained on this position. Dmitry Karlov returned to the Krasnodar club in February 2022. Previously, the specialist has already worked as a head coach in SKIF. In the 2012/13 season, Krasnodar under his leadership were able to win bronze medals in the Russian championship. During his playing career, Karlov also played for SKIF, with whom he won the IHF Cup in 1990. In 1993 he became the world champion in the Russian team.
Also now the contracts of 4 players who will leave SKIF have expired. These are team captain Anton Volkov, as well as Yaroslav Zimin, Alexei Baukin and Nikita Shkarlat.
