As it became known to MK, the 58-year-old scientist was in the Armenian temple complex, in a guest house on Olimpiysky Prospekt. The scientist arrived in the capital from Armenia on business and was soon hospitalized with a myocardial infarction. On April 12, the man was discharged from the hospital, but the next day he had a second attack. The resuscitation team tried to save the patient, but the doctors failed.
Vardan Devrikyan was a scientist, Doctor of Philology, author of over 60 books on medieval Armenian literature and 14 films on Christian themes.
