According to the doctor, overeating often masks stress or psychological problems. Sometimes oversaturation comes along with eating habits from the family – in some circles, the cult of food is very important.
Overeating, Dianova noted, can be observed in people who are heavily loaded with work and affairs, and they do not have free time to eat on a schedule. People tend to reward themselves with food at the end of the working day, but because they haven’t eaten in a long time, they risk eating half their portion.
To deal with the problem of glut, a nutritionist recommends understanding what kind of food a person really likes. Dianova also advised to eat several times a day and not sacrifice meals for the sake of work – otherwise in the future “you will have to work for a pharmacy.”
In addition, the nutritionist strongly recommended to deal with the peculiarities of eating behavior together with a psychologist who will help to understand the causes of overeating and gradually solve them. Food, says Dianova, should not be the only source of pleasure in life.
