Details of miraculous rescue of grandmother and grandson lost in taiga revealed

The fourth day of the search for 63-year-old Nadezhda Vasilievna and her 10-year-old grandson Dmitry from the Kemerovo region, who went to the taiga for mushrooms and disappeared, was crowned with success: they were found alive! The good news was spread by LizaAlert volunteers.
As MK reported the day before, Nadezhda Vasilyevna Razhneva and her grandson Dima went on the morning of September 3 to pick mushrooms in the taiga, having specially arrived for this from their village of Krasnaya Gorka to the village of Novostroyka in the Prokopevsky district (Kemerovo region). They did not have a mobile phone with them. By the evening they did not return, and the relatives sounded the alarm. 250 people participated in the search – both LizaAlert volunteers, police officers and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In addition to foot groups combing the taiga, ATVs and small aircraft (small-engine aircraft) worked. There was a loudspeaker notification from the helicopter – suddenly they will hear the words addressed to them, and somehow make themselves felt.
Local residents told MK that their taiga is “very large, it’s easy to get lost there if you go far inland.” You can easily run into wild animals – bears and wolves. Residents of the surrounding villages go to this forest for honey mushrooms, and now their season has just begun, so the city people have also reached out to the taiga for death.
– In our region, people have already been found alive in the forests even after four days of searching, and in other regions there have been cases when people were found after six days or more. Therefore, we believed that they were alive, and we will definitely find them! – told “MK” the head of the press service of “LizaAlert” Kuzbass Daria Topchiy. – While the evacuation is going on, we don’t have any details, but I can say that the grandmother and grandson were found by a couple of motorcyclists according to the task set by our coordinator.
