Deripaska filed a lawsuit against Tinkov and Meta

The Ust-Labinsky District Court of the Krasnodar Territory registered a lawsuit by Oleg Deripaska for the protection of honor and dignity against the businessman Oleg Tinkov and the Meta company (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). The hearing will take place tomorrow, August 16. As follows from the case card on website District Court, the application was filed on 30 May.
In April, Oleg Tinkov, in comments on his Instagram account (owned by Meta), wrote: “Deripaska is an oligarch and a thief.” In May, in an interview with Yuri Dudyu (included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of foreign agents), the businessman explained: “For me, Deripaska is a kind of figurative Deripaska. They are all thieves.”
Mr. Deripaska has a residence permit in the Ust-Labinsk region, he has repeatedly filed lawsuits in the local court, which sided with the businessman. In particular, in 2018 Oleg Deripaska achieved a ban on the publication of information about his private life in the media. The authors of the publications were ordered to pay him 500 thousand rubles each.
