Vera Ivanovna told MK correspondents about why she did not congratulate the Primadonna on her birthday.

– I recently see Alla only on TV, – says Vera Ivanovna. – Neither happy birthday, nor Happy New Year, nor March 8, she does not congratulate me. She doesn’t call me: why should I call her? Once – yes, we were very friendly. She was a good girl. We spent a lot of time together. But for 27 years since Lenechka has been gone, she has never called me. Although I could ask how I feel. They came to us all the time, spent days and nights here. Lenechka died and how cut off. Well there is no way.

– What would you wish Pugacheva now?

– I would wish that all the scandals around her would end, that peace would come in life.

– Do you think she is worried about scandals?

– I have no idea. You know, I don’t think about it at all. Now I think only about my health – I don’t feel well.

– What are you worried about?

– My head hurts and my legs hurt … Old age is not a joy. I am already 88 years old. I just got back from the doctor. With vision, thank God, now getting better. I had several operations on both eyes – I began to see better.

– Ilya Reznik recently admitted that in connection with the departure of Pugacheva to Israel, his royalties have fallen sharply. Do you feel it too?

– Lenechka wrote 2500 songs, so I still have copyrights. I’m not complaining: I can afford an assistant who takes care of my health. So far, thank God, there is an opportunity for this. Lenechka wrote not only to Pugacheva. In addition to Alla, there is someone to sing his songs.
