Deputy Speaker of the State Duma said that BRICS is gaining strength

State Duma Vice Speaker Anna Kuznetsova made a statement that the BRICS alliance is gaining strength in the international arena both politically and economically, and is becoming more and more significant.
Speaking at the plenary session of the IV International Municipal Forum of the BRICS+ countries, Kuznetsova said that some people call the BRICS platform a “find of the 21st century”, adding that “it’s hard not to agree with this.”
The BRICS countries have a huge potential, the vice speaker added, stating that the resources at the disposal of the international organization should be treated responsibly.
BRICS includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and since 2011 also South Africa. The name BRICS is an abbreviation for the English names of the countries included in the bloc.
