Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Viktor Goremykin met with soldiers of regiment 1307 stationed in the NVO zone, reports RBC with reference to the KhMAO government. Since the beginning of June, employees from this region, according to the publication Muksun, complained about the commander of the regiment. It was about the lack of rotation, about the lack of ammunition, food and water.
The fighters from Yugra complained, according to the publication, about the commander under the call sign “Gyurza”, who, presumably, was replaced after the complaints. However, according to Muksun, the shift turned out to be fictitious. This was reported to the publication by a woman who contacted the editorial office, who identified herself as the sister of the mobilized, and asked not to be named.
Another source said that allegedly “Gyurza” or “Syrian” is not the commander of 1307. According to him, the person whom the mobilized complain about also holds a command position, but at a higher level.
In this regard, the head of the Humanitarian Volunteer Corps, Eduard Loginov, went to the NMD zone, who was supposed to check all the information on the spot. It was he who gave the information about the meeting between the deputy head of the Defense Ministry and the fighters of regiment 1307, RBC reports.
“According to Loginov, the Colonel General on the spot announced instructions regarding compliance with the schedule for granting holidays to military personnel, and also outlined a number of personnel decisions of the Ministry of Defense,” the KhMAO government said in a statement.
Mobilized from Yugra complained about the commander is not the first time. After his likely replacement, the situation in the regiment worsened, Muksun wrote. After new complaints, Governor Natalya Komarova turned to Viktor Goremykin, RBC reports.
