State Duma Deputy Nikolai Novichkov informed in the NSN press center that the actor and TV presenter Ivan Urgant must be recognized as a foreign agent.
Novichkov explained that he came across contextual advertising of Yandex services with the participation of Ivan Urgant.
“Why are ads allowed from these people?” Novichkov said.
In addition, the deputy demanded that the showman be punished criminally.
Immediately after Novichkov, the idea was picked up by lawyer Alexander Karabanov, who was also present at the press conference. According to Karabanov, in Russia it is necessary to revive the concept of “enemy of the people.”
The day before, State Duma deputy from the Communist Party Nina Ostanina was indignant at the possible return of TV presenter Ivan Urgant to Russian screens. In her telegram channel, she wrote that the presenter “began to be actively promoted again,” but she is “convinced that the time of Urgants has passed.”
