Anton Nemkin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, issued a statement calling for tougher penalties in Russia for unregistered drones.
According to him, attackers who are preparing an attack on various infrastructure facilities will obviously not register their UAVs.
“Therefore, I believe that in this area, the maximum tightening of control and measures of responsibility for the use, import and sale of unregistered drones is necessary,” Nemkin added.
He clarified that more unmanned aerial vehicles create interference. Among other things, the uncontrolled movement of the UAV poses a danger both to people and to various objects.
