Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Bezsonov announced the withdrawal of Russian troops from Izyum

The Russian military left Izyum and some other settlements in the Kharkov direction, wrote in his Telegram channel First Deputy Minister of Information of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Daniil Bezsonov.

“Yes, they left Izyum, as well as from some other settlements in the Kharkov direction. Of course, this is the result of high command mistakes. But there is no need to look for hidden meanings in this … We just fight as best we can, ”he said.

Also, war correspondent Yuri Kotenok announced the departure of the Russian army from Izyum in his Telegram channel. “The raisins are left. Russian troops are withdrawing beyond Oskol, ”he wrote.

8 September reportedthat the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia repelled an attempt by the Ukrainian military to surround the city of Balakleya in the Kharkiv region. Vitaly Ganchev, head of the region’s CAA, stressed that Balakleya is under the control of the Russian side and everything is in order in the city, but, like all settlements nearby, it is constantly under fire.

Also Ganchev declaredthat in the Kupyansky district of the region, the evacuation of women and children began due to the constant shelling of the Ukrainian military. The day before, the regional administration said that a rocket attack was carried out on the social facilities of Kupyansk, including the checkpoint for refugees in Balakleya.

According to TASS, about 20% of the territory of the Kharkiv region is under the control of the forces of Russia and the Luhansk People’s Republic. Civil-military administrations operate in Volchansk, Izyum, Kupyansk and the village of Kazachya Lopan.
