Deputy Vitaly Milonov was spotted in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, despite the fact that he recently stated that he was in the NVO zone.
Having phoned Milonov, the Fontanka journalists found out that the deputy, it turns out, had returned to St. Petersburg to get back to the front, signing up as a volunteer there.
As he explained, for this he needs to re-register.
The Telegram channel Fontanka SPB Online notes that Milonov was noticed on Rizhsky Prospekt, in the military registration and enlistment office.
He explained that he had arrived in St. Petersburg in the morning in order to write a standard volunteer application. According to him, he is a “serviceman of the People’s Militia of the DPR.” In connection with the reunification of the DPR and Russia, as Milonov said, “now this is not a separate structure,” and in order not to violate his status as a deputy, he, acting in accordance with the law, “wrote a volunteer application at the military enlistment office at the place of registration.”
At the same time, Milonov, when asked about the payment of 300 thousand “volunteer” said that he was “not aware” of this and explained that the deputies have a clear list of sources from which they have the right to receive income. Whether the payment for volunteers is included in this list, he has not yet been interested.
