Deputy Mayor Liksutov: a comfortable environment is being formed near MCD stations in TINAO

In New Moscow, the improvement and development of territories adjacent to the MCD-4 stations continues. Pedestrian zones, curbside parking, and new public transport stops allow citizens to quickly and safely get to stations.

“The path of passengers to the MCD should be convenient and fast, so we are moving ground transport stops closer to the station entrance, organizing intercept parking and pedestrian zones. These changes contribute to the formation of a comfortable urban environment. We continue to improve transport services near MCD stations according to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in charge of transport and transport infrastructure development.

So, taking into account both pedestrians and motorists, the area near Kokoshkino station has been developed. Modern stopping pavilions for public transport appeared next to the platform, ensuring a seamless transfer. We equipped sidewalks and a recreation area for pedestrians with a park area. Near the Tolstopaltsevo station, comprehensive landscaping has been carried out, a parking lot has been installed, and a temporary taxi stand has been installed. Convenient and safe railway crossings have appeared at the Michurinets station, and ground transport routes have also been changed – now the traffic intervals are 16 minutes instead of half an hour.
