Deputy Ivlev: Kyiv’s call for citizens to leave Crimea is inspired by depression

This is how State Duma deputy from Crimea Leonid Ivlev commented on the call of the Ukrainian authorities to leave the peninsula. The day before, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk addressed Crimeans with a proposal to go abroad “for the period of de-occupation of Crimea.” She did not give an exact time frame for how long she needed to be absent.
The deputy emphasized that Kyiv is not succeeding at the front. And it won’t work with Crimea, even more so. The peninsula is too well protected. While Kyiv is in hysterics, Crimeans are preparing to celebrate ten years of reunification with Russia.
Earlier, Vereshchuk reported about an impending attack on Crimea. Whether this is real information or intimidation of the population is not known. Some media outlets suggest that provocations or the entry of British troops into the region to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces are possible.
