Mr. Chalik came to the Ministry of Transport together with the current Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev, who headed Aeroflot.
Igor Chalik was born in 1957 in Orsk. In 1979, he graduated from the Aktobe Higher Flight School of Civil Aviation with a degree in Air Transport Operations. In 2015, he graduated from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) with a degree in Jurisprudence. In 2010, Mr. Chalik became Deputy General Director – Director of the Flight Operations Department of Aeroflot. In 2011, he moved to the position of deputy general director and flight director of the airline.
