Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region Elena Dyagileva spoke about the progress of the work on repairing the foyer of the Murmansk Ice Palace, carried out on behalf of the Governor Andrey Chibis.
The opening of the lobby of the Ice Palace in the capital of the Arctic is scheduled for December 2022. The official spoke about this on her social networks.
“Many surprises await the young guests of the governor’s Christmas trees,” writes Diaghileva.
According to her, the foyer space will become much more spacious, bright and comfortable than before. This was achieved thanks to the coordinated work of the team of the Ministry of Sports of the Murmansk Region.
The deputy head of the governor also added that the main ice arena of Murmansk is a key platform for the Arktika club. For young hockey players, a comfortable base is being created here with all the necessary infrastructure, showers and locker rooms.
The young athletes, Diaghileva said, not only look forward to the completion of the work, but also take an active part in the project themselves.
