Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Yuri Shvytkin said that partial mobilization in accordance with the presidential decree is not divided into stages. Therefore, according to him, the statements of the heads of regions and officials about the “first” and “second” stages of mobilization have no basis.
“No stages of mobilization are provided for in the relevant presidential decree. Accordingly, there is no need to talk about the fact that someone “completed the first stage” or “moved to the second stage”. There is a partial mobilization. This is a continuous process, and it is not divided into any stages,” Mr. Shvytkin said in an interview. “Parliamentary newspaper”. This is how he commented on today’s reports of the authorities from Kursk and Rostov regions on the implementation of the “first stage” of mobilization.
At the same time, he noted that there is a mobilization plan for each region. “Some regions have already fulfilled it, others, like Moscow, for example, are fulfilling it,” Mr. Shvytkin added. In October, the authorities of Mari El, the Kama region, the Altai Territory, the Volgograd and Novosibirsk regions and Udmurtia reported on the implementation of the first stage of mobilization.
