The Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol adopted a bill repealing the old law on the procedure for recalling the governor, Kommersant was told in the press service of the regional parliament.
The document was adopted in two readings, 15 deputies supported it, 2 abstained. According to the chairman of the Legislative Assembly, Vladimir Nemtsev, the decision was caused by the need to bring regional legislation into line with the federal one.
Recall that in the summer the State Duma adopted a law that does not provide for regional parliaments to have the authority to adopt regional laws on the recall of heads of regions.
