A new allegation of sexual assault and harassment during filming has been brought against actor Gerard Depardieu by a production designer involved in the making of the 2021 film. Agence France-Presse reports this, citing the applicant’s lawyer.
“A production designer has filed a lawsuit against French film legend Gerard Depardieu over allegations of sexual assault during the filming of the 2021 film,” the agency said in a statement.
The Depardieu family responded to allegations of harassment against the actor. According to the applicant’s lawyer, she filed a complaint with the Paris prosecutor’s office alleging “sexual violence, harassment and abuse.”
