Denmark and Sweden have decided to transfer CV90 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine in the amount of DKK 1.8 billion ($263.6 million). This statement was made at a press conference in Copenhagen by the Danish Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen following negotiations with the representative of the Swedish Ministry of Defense Paul Johnson, Ritzau agency reports.
During the negotiations, the topic of Sweden transferring the chairmanship of the Nordic defense cooperation Nordefco to Denmark from January 1 of the coming year was raised.
In August, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky declared his desire produce Swedish CV-90s in the republic.
Earlier it became known that the armies of the Czech Republic and Slovakia also decided to buy Swedish infantry fighting vehicles, while we were talking about more advanced models.
