In October 2020, Delivery Club couriers protested in Moscow against the company’s tightened system of fines, and in December of the same year they demanded that they be given winter uniforms. The trade union explained that the food delivery workers wanted to protest against a 20% reduction in wages and a reduction in daily earnings from 3,000 to 2,000 rubles.
In April 2022, the head of the Courier, Kirill Ukraintsev, was detained by the investigating authorities. He was accused of repeatedly violating the procedure for holding rallies (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
