Deliveries of tanks mean the end of Ukraine: Zelensky called the deadline

The main news of the past week was the decision of the collective West to supply tanks to Ukraine. Not because these tanks will radically decide anything directly on the battlefield, but because it has become clear: restrictions on the supply of absolutely any weapons have been lifted. This means that the achievement of such a goal of the NMD as the demilitarization of Ukraine is in reality possible only in one way: to make sure that there is nowhere to supply weapons. The point of no return seems to have been passed.

If any of the enthusiastic fans of Europe still doubted that Europe is no longer independent, then the past week should have dispelled these doubts. At first, for a long time and with pleasure, they drove Germany with their faces on the table for indecision (tanks in Europe are mostly German, without the permission of Germany, it seems like it’s impossible to deliver). All and sundry. Even the Baltics. Lithuania, by the way, excelled. Their Foreign Minister Arvydas Anusauskas issued a phenomenal conclusion: “Yes, we don’t have tanks, but we have an opinion about tanks!” But the State Department said: wait, Germany will announce the transfer of tanks. State Department – this is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But not Germany, but the USA. And if he makes such a statement for Germany, then the question – who is the boss in Germany? – You can no longer ask.

And Germany really said: we will give Ukraine Leopards. And on Wednesday evening (in Moscow), Biden spoke and said that he would also give Ukraine 31 Abrams tanks. True, as it turned out a little later, it will not give soon – maybe in a few months, or maybe in six months. However, much has already been said about this business trick, when Europe turns out to be unarmed, having transferred its tanks to Ukraine, and will be forced to provide orders for the American military-industrial complex.

Before the echoes of Biden’s words about tanks faded into the air, Ukraine screamed: planes! Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Melnik wrote the following about the supply of tanks to Kyiv: “Hallelujah! Jesus Christ! And now, dear allies, let’s build a powerful coalition with F-16s and F-35s, Eurofighters and Tornados, Rafale and Gripen and whatever you can deliver to save Ukraine.” Zelensky also said: after the tanks, Ukraine expects to receive long-range missiles and combat aircraft from the West. In the Western press, stuffing is going on this topic, Lockheed Martin, the manufacturer of F-16 fighters, has announced that it is ready for deliveries. The representative of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, already indicates the number: Ukraine wants to receive 24 fighter jets from Western countries as part of the first phase of military assistance. According to him, Kyiv would like to receive F-16 aircraft, as well as French Rafale aircraft and Swedish Gripen. Advisor to the head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podolyak said that Ukraine is already negotiating with Western partners on the supply of aircraft and operational-tactical missiles: “Negotiations are already underway, the second – negotiations are moving fast – partners all understand this well. Well, Andriy Melnik, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, in order not to get up twice, immediately asked for a submarine: they say that the German army has six HDW class 212A submarines, so one of them should be sent to Ukraine to fight Russia in Chernoy sea.

However, Zelensky issued an interesting phrase last week: if American tanks are delivered in August, it will be too late. Late for what? And why is it suddenly such a statement, if all Western propaganda is full of victorious reports? Let go a little and see the real state of affairs?

It is an extremely stupid thing to consider Zelensky’s statements as his independent statements. Here you need only in the complex. And here’s what’s in the complex. US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said that Washington is ready to consider easing sanctions against Russia in the event of serious negotiations over Ukraine. They say both she and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken would support easing sanctions if there was a Russian decision to “negotiate seriously and withdraw their forces from Ukraine and return the territory.” It was “once”. This is the most serious analytical structure working for the US government, which, even before February last year, “painted” the conflict in Ukraine and the American policy that would allow them to get the maximum benefit from it. So, RAND believes that the US should end the conflict in Ukraine. Four steps are suggested. Firstly, to provide military assistance to Kyiv only if he undertakes the obligation to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia – arms deliveries cannot last forever, and Ukraine must understand this. (That is, the goal is to preserve Ukrainian statehood and at least some territory.) Secondly, to assume obligations to ensure the security of Ukraine after the end of the conflict. (Well, that is, there will still be arms deliveries, but on different terms, plus a hotbed of tension for Russia will remain.) Thirdly, to guarantee Ukraine’s neutral status to Russia. (The expectation that the naive Russians will again fall for this rake will be eternal and, alas, this cannot be ruled out.) Fourth, clearly outline the conditions for easing anti-Russian sanctions. (This is both a “carrot” and, at the same time, a way to put pressure on the authorities through the Russian oligarchs.)

From Zelensky, Nuland and RAND, a whole picture is already emerging. On the one hand – the supply of weapons, on the other – negotiations. That is, the West has an understanding of Russia’s capabilities – the front only showed signs of stirring on our part, when all this talk about peace and additional pressure in the form of tanks began. The end result of these processes for the West should be the preservation of at least some Ukraine. But for Russia – and now it is quite clear – such a result is unacceptable (however, this is ideally). Because if Ukraine remains in the current conditions, then sooner or later, but all over again.

On April 14, 2017, the US Air Force first tested an unloaded B61-12 thermonuclear bomb from an F-16C fighter-bomber. Ukraine is now asking for such aircraft (and will receive it if Russia delays). And if someone thinks that things will not come to the B61-12 bombs, then just look at this. In March last year, Germany claimed that it would not supply Ukraine with anything other than helmets and bulletproof vests. And now German Leopard tanks are heading to the front.
