Deliveries of Il-114-300 regional aircraft have been postponed until 2026. This is stated in the materials of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the portal regulation.gov.ru.
“Due to the incident that occurred on August 17, 2021 (…) Il PJSC is not able to carry out certification activities… Il-114-300. … It is proposed to postpone the delivery date of aircraft to 2026,” – stated in the publication.
It is known that the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) should be the first to receive the aircraft. In 2020, the organization signed an agreement with PJSC Il (MOEX: AKIL) for the supply of three such airliners. They were planned for 2023. Then STLC was going to lease them to the Vologda Aviation Enterprise.
The postponement of the procedure for three years is explained by the fact that it is impossible to carry out certification of the Il-114-300 on time due to the crash of a prototype of the Il-112V military transport aircraft in 2021. The aircraft is equipped with the same TV7-117ST engines developed by UEC-Klimov.
