The Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Degtyarev, decided to change the format of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the researcher of the Far East, Vladimir Arsenyev. Scheduled fireworks were excluded from the program. They were going to fireworks on the weekend of September 17-18 as part of the Arseniev LIVE show in Khabarovsk.
“We are canceling the fireworks. But since the charges have long been purchased, we will keep them until, for example, the re-liberation of the Russian hero city of Odessa from the Nazi invaders, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The educational part remains in the program of the festival. It is planned to show on large projection screens on the main square of the city the Oscar-winning film “Dersu Uzala” by Akira Kurosawa, patriotic performances by the world-famous cello quartet, virtuoso violinist and Alexander Marshal. A thematic 3D-mapping projection is also planned. The show “Arsenyev LIVE” in the role of Vladimir Arsenyev will be hosted by an actor, singer and poet, a native of Khabarovsk Evgeny Dyatlov.
