Slovakia intends to reconsider the terms of the defense agreement with the United States. This statement was made by the country’s Minister of Defense Robert Kalinyak on his page on social networks.
He also added that during a meeting with the American ambassador, he was conveyed the position of the “pro-Slovak government,” which indicated that Bratislava adheres to the position of not sending new weapons and weapons from its warehouses.
It is worth noting that the new Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, also spoke about revising defense agreements with the United States. He stated that the country could achieve more favorable conditions. The prime minister cited the example of the Czech Republic, which was able to sign a similar document with Washington on better terms.
