The United States has supplied Poland with a large batch of HIMARS MLRS and Abrams tanks. This was announced by the country’s Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak on his page on the social network X.

“Large delivery of US military equipment for the Polish Army! Currently, its unloading continues in Świnoujście – first 11 HIMARS launchers,” Blaszczak wrote.

He also emphasized that M1A1 Abrams tanks are expected to be unloaded with M88A2 HERCULES technical support vehicles.

Warsaw has repeatedly stated that they want to increase the size of their army, as well as make it more advanced. It is noted that this will be one of the largest rearmaments of the army.

Earlier, the Minister of National Defense of Poland stated that the country intends to increase its army to 300 thousand people, and in the future – even more.
