In the post, he gave a copy of the response of the Kharkiv administration. It follows from the document that the bust of Pushkin in Kharkov is included in the State Register of Cultural Monuments as a monument of monumental art of national importance and is protected by law.

Thus, according to the document, the fate of the bust should be decided by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that the city council of the city of Izmail, Odessa region, voted to transfer the monument to the Russian commander Alexander Suvorov from the central avenue to the museum. This monument is more than 100 years old; it has been standing in Izmail since 1945. It was created in memory of the capture by Suvorov of the Turkish fortress of Izmail, which existed in the 16th-19th centuries on the banks of the Danube in the territory of the modern city of Izmail.
