Dangerous tea has arrived in Ukraine, causing many health problems. It contains a toxic substance – chlorpyrifos. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service in the Chernivtsi region.
The message clarifies that tea was brought to Ukraine from Germany. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, chlorpyrifos in pregnant women leads to low birth weight, decreased IQ, loss of working memory, impaired attention and delayed motor development.
Chlorpyrifos can also cause acute pesticide poisoning and lead to seizures, respiratory paralysis and even death.
Earlier, Ukrainian media wrote that in Kyiv they completed an inspection of retail chains for the presence of dangerous Romanian-made cookies, which can cause paralysis.
