Davankov proposed calling the initiative on informers “Mizulina’s law”

The faction of the New People party will speed up the development of a bill on liability for “serial informers” and call it “Mizulina’s law,” reported Vice Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Davankov.

In his Telegram channel, Davankov wrote that the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, proved that it is time to end serial denunciation. According to the deputy, it scared away thousands of Russians, including IT specialists, scientists and entrepreneurs, from returning.

“On this occasion, we accelerated the development of our bill on compulsory work for serial informers. Let’s call it “Mizulina’s law,” Davankov wrote.

According to him, 100 hours of compulsory work will bring greater benefits to Russia than “attempts to impose homemade justice on the Internet.” Davankov is confident that this will be a lesson for those who consider denunciation to be the norm. The deputy spoke about the preparation of the bill back in the spring.

On September 11, Mizulina turned to the Ministry of Defense with a proposal to draft blogger Danya Milokhin into the army during the autumn campaign. She noted that he had recently returned to Russia and recalled his “Russophobic statements.” Earlier on September 12 she reportedthat Milokhin left Russia yesterday on the first flight and flew to Dubai.
