Shane MacGowan, leader of the group paid tribute to him on social networks by describing the musician as “a great friend and an excellent bass player. I’m so sorry that Darryl passed away, he was a really nice guy, we will all miss him.” Fellow band member Spider Stacey tweeted ” What misery. See you soon, Daz.” The group consisted of Shane MacGowan, Jem Finer, James Fearnley, Andrew Ranken, Terry Woods, Hunt, Stacy and other musicians over the years.
