The accomplice of the terrorist Darya Trepova, according to the FSB, is a citizen of Ukraine, Yuriy Denisov. He arrived in Russia via Latvia, bought a used VAZ 2112 with numbers for the Kirov region. Having in his hands a temporary residence permit in the Vladimir region, Denisov collected data on the military commissar Vladlen Tatarsky, preparing a terrorist attack. “MK” found out what is known about Denisov’s past.
Yuriy Denisov was born in Torez, Donetsk region. The childhood and youth of Trepova’s accomplice is connected with the city of Snezhnoye, where he graduated from school No. 9, and Mariupol, where he received his higher education – at the Azov State Technical University. True, it was not very useful to him: having served in the Ukrainian army before 2014, after that he worked mainly as a security guard in a private security company.
Denisov kept the page on VKontakte until March 2023, then it was deleted. Denisov clearly had a special interest in the events on the Maidan, where he took an active part, as well as in the Russian Spring» in Donbass. On social networks, Trepova’s accomplice liked posts in the militia communities and distributed polls under the titles – “What is your attitude to the situation in Ukraine?” or “Right Sector (an organization recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation, banned in Russia) VS People’s Militia.”
Denisov’s main hobby was sports, in particular weightlifting. The accomplice of the terrorist attack loved outdoor recreation, beaches and was clearly not indifferent to alcohol – in the photo on social networks he is often with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.
The main profile photo shows a selfie of Trepova’s accomplice along with a young woman and a little girl – the alleged Denisov family. Local social networks report that now his wife and daughter are presumably in Kharkiv.
