Danilov said that Ukraine will change the strategy for the de-occupation of Crimea

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that given the current circumstances regarding the liberation of Crimea, Ukraine cannot be guided by the strategy that the state leadership supported in 2021.
On March 2, Danilov announced that Ukraine would change the strategy for the future de-occupation of Crimea. On the air of the marathon, he explained his words.
“In 2021, on March 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree No. 17 on the Strategy for the de-occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Where we have worked out all the points for the first time since 2014. And the initial proposal was to resolve this issue in a political and diplomatic way.
However, taking into account the circumstances that are taking place today on the territory of our country, we must definitely consider this strategy, make appropriate changes to it, vote for these changes at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, and after that the president must either issue a new decree or make changes to that strategy that was adopted,” the representative of Ukraine believes.
Danilov noted that there is “nothing conspiratorial” in his statement, and the state leadership is working with the relevant documents so that they meet the interests of Ukraine and its citizens.
