Daily Mail: Ukrainians massively deprived of asylum in the UK

In the UK, the “Houses for Ukraine” program, which has been operating in the country since March of this year, has gradually begun to be curtailed. Because of this, Ukrainian refugees remain on the street, according to the Daily Mail.
Under this program, British residents accepted refugees from Ukraine, and the authorities paid them compensation in the amount of £350.
According to the Local Government Association of Britain, recently more and more Ukrainians find themselves without housing. At the same time, the country’s government continues to assert that the number of participants in the program is increasing.
However, the numbers say otherwise: of the 97,000 refugees from Ukraine who officially arrived in the country, almost 2,000 have now been thrown out into the streets as the program is winding down.
The Ukrainians, left homeless, are forced to write complaints against the British who put them up in all instances.
According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, from February 24 to August 30, more than 7 million Ukrainians settled in the EU countries.
