Dagestan celebrates victory at the Ivan Yarygin Cup

The Dagestan freestyle wrestling team successfully performed at the Ivan Yarygin Cup in Krasnoyarsk. They won 6 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze medals. The best in their weight categories were Abdulrashid Sadulaev, Zavur Uguev, Abasgadzhi Magomedov, Gadzhimurad Rashidov, Kurban Shiraev, Magomed Kurbanov. “Silver” was won by Musa Mehtikhanov, Muslim Mehtikhanov, Shamil Musaev. “Bronze” medalists – Akhmed Idrisov, Arip Abdullaev, Dalgat Abdulkadyrov, Magoma Dibirgadzhiev, Kasum Kasumov, Mustafagadzhi Malachdibirov, Ramazan Shabanov and Milana Dadasheva. Magomedhabib Kadimagomedov and Magomed Magomaev also made their mark, although they represented other regions. The competition was dedicated to Ivan Yarygin, a famous Soviet wrestler.
