Dagestan authorities postponed the International Digital Forum

The Caspian Digital Forum in Dagestan, which was scheduled for November 2-3, has been postponed to November 16-17. About it “RIA News” reported the Ministry of Digital Development of Dagestan. Earlier today, October 30, the department announced that it does not plan to postpone the event due to the unrest at Makhachkala airport.
The digital forum should be attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, India and Qatar. Participants of the event will discuss the construction of a digital ecosystem around the North-South transport corridor. The decision to postpone the forum was made by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development and the government of Dagestan.
On the evening of October 29, a crowd of people gathered at Makhachkala International Airport. The riots began due to Israeli citizens arriving in the country from Tel Aviv. Protesters broke into the international terminal building and then ran onto the runway. Ministry of Health of the Republic reportedthat 20 people were injured as a result.
