Various esports events are planned in Transbaikalia in 2023. Some of them are not related to mobile disciplines and will be held on the territory of the region for the first time. This was announced to MK in Chita on January 3 by the regional head of the ESK esports league Evgeny Namsaraev.

“We will have a series of major tournaments, the preliminary dates are already planned. The first one will be held on January 6, we will be co-organizers of an interactive dribbling tournament dedicated to the great football player Diego Maradona. It will be necessary to pass virtual obstacles with a real ball,” the head of the organization shared.

Namsaraev also added that in the spring, esportsmen are planning to hold a retro party with an exhibition of old cars and a Mortal Kombat game tournament.

“We want to hold an event related to the continuity of generations. Parents will be able to show what they played in their childhood, and they will also try modern games,” the eSportsman specified.

According to him, in 2023 a series of eSports tournaments will be held, in which more than 250 players from 20 regions of Transbaikalia will take part.

“There are also plans for a tournament in the digital game (combining the digital and physical universes – ed.) Just Dance. And, of course, the plans include championships in various disciplines,” Namsaraev concluded.

Earlier, MK in Chita wrote that a large-scale e-sports tournament in the discipline “MOBILE LEGENDS BANG BANG” (16+) has started in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the prize fund of which will be 300 thousand rubles.
