Soon a generation of curling athletes will be raised in the Vologda region. They intend to develop this Olympic sport in the new Golden Puck sports and recreation center, which is currently being built in Vologda.
An ice rink will be located at the sports facility for curling. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports said that work on the development of curling in the region will be carried out jointly with the Russian Curling Federation. The Vologda region will be provided with a coach from the federation for the first stage of development.
It should be noted that curling sports communities currently operate in 32 regions of our country.
