Cup of Russia in Fudokan Karate brought first place to Ivanovo athletes

The Palace of Sports in the regional center last weekend became a venue for several tournaments at once.
And the event was timed to the 20th anniversary of the Budosan Martial Arts Academy. More than six hundred karatekas from different parts of the country gathered in Ivanovo. They competed at the Fudokan Karate Cup of the country, the SBE MMA Championship of the city and the region, a jiu-jitsu tournament, and a children’s martial arts festival. It is gratifying that the Russian Fudokan Cup brought an unconditional victory to the Ivanovo athletes.
– More than three hundred athletes competed from our team. We took a well-deserved first place. A real gift for all of us – coaches, children and their parents, – said the head coach of the Budosan Academy, the president of the MMA Federation of the region Rudolf Grigoryan.
