Moscow football club CSKA and Samara club “Wings of the Soviets” played draw (2:2) in the match of the eighth round of the World Russian Premier League (RPL). The match took place at Moscow’s VEB Arena.
Defender of the Samara club Nikolai Rasskazov scored a goal in the 2nd minute, midfielder Nikita Saltykov scored the second goal in the 22nd minute. Among the hosts, forwards Anton Zabolotny, who converted a penalty, and Fedor Chalov, who scored in the 75th minute, distinguished themselves.
In the second half, CSKA played with an incomplete squad – defender Willian Rocha received a second yellow card. However, the teams finished the game with equal strengths – Samara team defender Alexander Soldatenkov received a red card in stoppage time.
In the league standings, Krylya Sovetov occupy second place with 15 points, CSKA is sixth with 12 points. In the next round, the Samara team will meet with Sochi on September 23, the Moscow team will meet with Rostov on September 24.
