CSKA midfielder Kristian Bistrovich from Croatia, who is currently playing on loan for Baltika Kaliningrad, said “Sport Express” about changing the attitude of European citizens towards Russians.
In his opinion, “the situation has probably improved now.” Bistrovich noted that many foreigners come to our country, and in Europe they have begun to feel “a little calmer” about visits to Russia. “I see this in my parents,” the football player emphasized. At first his parents had difficulty accepting his departure to Russia, but now they will come to visit him in Kaliningrad.
On October 2, Bistrovich spoke about the possible acquisition of Russian citizenship. He stated that he always felt like a Croat.
The midfielder moved to CSKA in 2018. From 2021 to 2023, he played on loan for several European clubs. In September of this year, the Kaliningrad club rented the Croatian midfielder until the end of the season with the right to buy.
